Hi, apologies if this is the wrong subreddit for issues like this, not sure where else to ask. I've used a MacBook Pro for several years now and recently switched to a refurbished Acer laptop. I have a Bamboo Pen CTL-460 tablet and it always worked fine on my MacBook, but the drivers on my new Windows 10 Acer just do not work. I can move the mouse and click with the tablet, but there's no pressure sensitivity in my drawing programmes (Photoshop Cs6, FireAlpaca) and it's a little jerky in Photoshop.
If I go to the 'Wacom Preferences' app from the start bar this message appears: 'There is a problem with your tablet driver. Please reboot your system. If the problem persists reinstall or update the driver.'

Introducing this driver will give numerous propelled weight touchy elements that Wacom pen tablet clients have come to appreciate.
I've been emailing wacom support back and forth for about a month and nothing so far. They seem to think that there's a programme on my computer that is interfering with the driver but I can't think what it could be. I've followed all their instructions to make sure there's no previous drivers interfering, I've installed the driver on a new guest account, I've tried installing on a friend's computer and I'm beginning to suspect that the driver itself just doesn't work on Windows 10, especially since the tablet model itself is kind of an old one. Has anyone else had any experience with this? What can I do? I actually have TWO of the same tablet (friend didn't want theirs any more) and it's so frustrating that I may have to get rid of them and get a new one just because the god damned driver doesn't work.
